Councilman Petrosky began his second term on January 1, 2019. He was also chosen to be Council President for the year 2019. Joe has been a Roselle Park resident for over 50 years and is a 1978 graduate of the Roselle Park School System; a 1978 graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute. He has been employed as a Carpenter with the County of Union for over 30 years. He is a Past President and member of the Roselle Park Youth Baseball league for over 40 years. Likewise, he is a Past President, member, and coach of the Roselle Park Recreation Basketball League for 30 years, a member and coach of Roselle Park Youth Soccer League for 20 years, and a member of Roselle Park Men's Softball league for 25 years. Joe is a parishioner of the Church of the Assumption and member of Monsignor Joseph Loretti Knights of Columbus 3240. He is also a member of the Roselle American Legion Post 229. As of 2019, Councilman Petrosky serves as the Chairman of the Public Safety Committee, acting as the Fire representative on the committee, and Chairman of the Public Services and Administration Committee, acting as the Legislative representative on the committee. He also serves as a member of the Municipal Services Committee as the Department of Public Works representative. His term of office is January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2021.
