The Finance Department is responsible for the preparation, supervision and maintenance of all the financial records of the Borough as well as debt management, grant management, personnel and payroll matters. All purchases are made through the Purchasing Agent, and disbursements made through the office of the Treasurer. With the support of a dedicated staff, the Chief Financial Officer advises the Mayor and Governing Body on fiscal policies, manages cash flow & municipal investments, manages debt, reviews tax, utility & assessment billings, reviews revenue collections & cash balances, supervises payroll issuance & reporting, and plans, prepares, implements & controls budgets.
